![]() LEGO Worlds has been in development for home consoles, initially releasing as a beta version on Steam early access on June 1st, 2015. The popularity of LEGO led to over 60 billion LEGO pieces being manufactured ever since, earning two Toy of the Century awards. The name "LEGO" was introduced in 1953, replacing Automatic Binding Bricks branding, due to the LEGO Group's foundation in Denmark. "LEGO" combines the Danish words "leg godt," meaning "play well." The birth of the building and creation genre technically began outside of videogames when LEGO bricks were first manufactured in 1949 under the original name Automatic Binding Bricks. ![]() LEGO Worlds is a third-person and first-person building and creation action-adventure platform game available for purchase at retail stores or download from the PlayStation Store on PS4.
